Congratulations Class of 2007

We received two tassels for graduation. One pictured below, shows the official colors of U of Illinois which is orange and blue. Another one is white in color which represents graduates from College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
Congratulations to all my friends majoring in B Sc. Actuarial Science. We did it, people!

I think I'm done with the grad night series. So moving on, I'm back to playing with my old stocks. Great news is I'm done with finals... I just have one more research paper to hand in on Thursday, then I'M DONE. Finito. My college life is over. I shouldn't really say that I'm done with exams because as an actuarial student, I'll be sitting for exams twice a year till I become an actuary. Oh well, it's all good.

Cupcake gone wrong

I refused to start on my writing assignments (I know I'll regret this later), so I baked some cupcakes instead. I was inspired by a friend at flickr who shot a picture of some cheesecake and a cup of coffee (yumm!).
The cupcake came out wrong. They ballooned up and cracked everywhere.. I think I put way too much in each cup.. but hey if it's edible...as my friend always say.. "makan sudah". Haha..
Excuse my decorating skills. I'm not really a creative person when it comes to working with my hands...

And I almost forgot, I performed a DOF test yesterday with my 50mm. I think it'll be really useful for beginners of photography. Check it out here - just be warned its a big image.
